Welcome!
My name is Merav Wegerhoff-Dorchin, and it’s lovely to have you here.
Here, I share my photographic work, which focuses on water, the fundamental element that gives life.
I studied photography as a young woman, and over the years I have woven it into my work accompanying women coping with post-trauma, an engagement that has been at the center of my life for the past ten years.
For me, water is both an aesthetic presence, rich in mystery and beauty, and a therapeutic medium that supports healing through emotional crisis.
I invite you to wander through the site, to look, to read, and to dive into my world of water.

About the Project
“Living Water” grew out of a life journey of listening, healing, and flow.
For the past six years, I have been photographing water - not as documentation, but as an encounter.
An encounter with movement, with memory, with what is alive and asking for space.
My path to photographing water began through working with trauma, which led me to explore shamanic healing traditions and ecotherapy.
I am here to share with you the beauty of living waters and their healing power.
I believe that water can serve as a source of inspiration and spiritual nourishment for each one of us.
Through the images, I hope to convey these messages and invite you to join me on this journey.
Together, we can breathe and discover the magic and strength of the living waters’ breath.

The water has memory; the water can hear us
